Lobbying government for medium to long term policies supporting an electrification agenda. Collaboration with all other energy sector agencies and businesses to improve standards and consumer protection. Contributing to training programmes and to an educational engagement to help recruit the heat pump technicians and engineers of tomorrow. Offering procurement advice for social landlords to maximise the value of investment funds. Working with central government and local authorities to identify opportunities for the capture and use of waste heat, especially for 4th and 5th generation networks delivering low emissions heating and cooling. Working to raise public awareness of the benefits of all heat pump technologies.
